UPDATE as of March 30, 2020
We are committed to helping our patients reach their optimal health. We are taking extra measures to make sure that our staff and patients stay safe and healthy during this time. With the Governor’s Order to stay at home for all non-essential positions, we are following those guidelines. As a health clinic, we are essential to both our patients and our companies who are still working during this time. We are open and here to serve our community! We are following all guidelines including having only half our staff working at any given time and making sure we are doing extra to keep our offices sanitized before and after every patient visit. During this COVID-19 outbreak, we fully support social distancing at this time, please call us if you are unable to make it to your visits and we will reschedule you. We do have supplements in office that can help strengthen your immune system. Please feel free to call or stop by to speak to our doctors about those. We also have read several studies about the affects of adjustments on the bodies response to inflammation. We are doing all we can to help our patients keep their immune systems in fighting order.
The primary purpose of chiropractic care is to realign the vertebrae in your spine to reduce pressure on the nerves and promote a healthy nervous system. When the spine and other joints are properly aligned, and your nerves function as they should, your body’s biomechanics return to normal. This stops the production of neuropeptides, which can help reduce inflammation.
Chiropractic adjustments may also help reduce the production of cytokines, proteins that regulate the cells of the immune system. When cytokines build up, they can cause a severe inflammatory response. Preliminary studies suggest that chiropractics may help not only the affected areas but other parts of the body as well.
We will be suspending our massage therapy for the next few weeks as this is considered a nonessential service at this time by the Governor’s statement as of March 25, 2020. We will be offing a great special during this time that you can use once everything has reopened. We are offing our 1 hour massage gift cards for $65. But if you buy five or more hours we will take the price to $50 per hour! This is a great time to stock up or think about Mother’s Day gifts! Massage will be a great way to relax after all this stress!
Our Idaho Workcare employees are here to serve our community as well! We will continue to do drug testing and physicals to make sure those looking for jobs have every opportunity to get them as soon as possible. We are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. We will be closed Tuesdays and Thursdays during this time. Please call and set up your pre-employment physicals, renew your DOT cards or any drug testing services you may need. We are happy to be here to help!
As always please feel free to call our office with any questions or concerns.
